When it comes to finding ways to solve a Sudoku many people find out that it can be confusing, especially if you are new to the game, but there are simple ways to do so. If you are patient enough to learn, solving just about any kind of Sudoku will seem a lot easier, as there are different patterns to follow in order to help solve the puzzle. Sudoku is usually considered a game of the mind, so understanding what its purpose is before anything else can have a great impact on your approach to the game. Just like any game, Sudoku has its own more advanced techniques, but working out the easier ones can be a great thing to do and it is sure to improve the outcome of any game.
Solve the Puzzles By Using The Counting Principles
Obviously you know by now that you cannot use the same number in the exact same row or 9 blocks so you can choose to use that to help you get the number that you actually need to fit in. The difficulty level will always depend on the actual placements of the numbers that are given to you. This aspect should always be kept in mind when trying to solve a game of Sudoku.
Always Seek Definites
If you are working towards solving a simple Sudoku, you should first look for definite, which are numbers that will most definitely be present. Starting with just one you can draw an invisible line through each box in the one column and when only a single box is left in the 3×3 boxes you can see the definite.
Work Through the Numbers until Number 9 & Always Look Again
Make sure to think about the numbers that have been filed as this will help you find other numbers as once this is done, players are given a higher number of opportunities. All you have to do is to make sure that you work your way through the game table until you reach the number 9. If for some reason you become stuck, you should always go back to check everything once again to ensure that you did not miss something important for the outcome of the game. Most people who are looking to solve Sudoku often miss things without realizing it but if they took the time to go back and check, they will most probably be surprised by their own small mistakes. Typically, all you need to get back on track is that one number, but if you are unable to find any solutions you may want to start labeling each block with any number that might go in that particular box. This can definitely help you solve the Sudoku quicker than other methods. It is also thought that many individuals choose to take this approach as it is also more time effective.
Practice Makes Perfect
If you are looking for new ways to solve Sudoku, but are fairly new you may want to practice online or even on a newspaper so you get a better grasp of what you are doing. This will also help you out in learning as you play, thus making the game seem a lot more enjoyable. You will be able to find a wide range of levels to choose from, starting with super easy to very difficult depending on your comfort level and what you want to achieve. By starting out with the easier ones you can gain knowledge and a better understanding and then step up the difficulty of it as you get better. You may even watch others including family or friends solve their own Sudoku, as watching others who may be better than you can greatly help in improving your skill level.
Learning new ways to solve Sudoku may seem like a daunting task, but with a bit of patience and understanding you will be playing the game like a pro in no time. Sudoku can be easily considered a game of skill, so test your skills out by playing Sudoku games for starters in order to see how good you are. Many online game sites offer this game for free so you can play as much and often as you’d like, making it easier for you to get better at the game. Doing so will also help you develop your personal style of playing, as it is thought that each player has a distinct playing style that can be easily improved with the help of the methods which have been outlined above, but others as well.

These are good tips for anybody wanting to start on Sudoku puzzles.
Once you get a little bit of confidence, I would reccomend using pencil marks to tackle the harder puzzles. Write (in pencil) in small writing the possibilities for each cell. This means you can spot patterns that you might otherwise miss!
