Each one of us irrespective of our age, gender, income or any other demographic, economic or social parameter for that matter, looks forward to live our lives in such a fashion that each and every day has a feel good element attached to the same. However, not each one of us is successful in enjoying such a feeling on a routine basis. We are often seen searching for ways that can help us feel good every day. Stay Satisfied
One of the very primary reasons because of which we remain upset and depressed on certain days is because we are unsatisfied about one or more things that are happening in our life. We often lay down certain goals for ourselves and work towards achieving the same. Similarly, we also tend to carry a number of predecided expectations with us. Not to forget the well defined plans that we have at hand. However, in the end, not everything goes as per our expectations. If such a circumstance arises, we fail to understand what exactly should be done by us and end up reacting in the most unreasonable way. The end result of this is heaps of dissatisfaction. Only if we were to decide to take this situation positively and would have worked out a solution for the shortcomings that are thrown in our face, our life would have become much more simpler and every day would have had a touch of feel good element to it.
Avoid Cribbing or Complaining
A negative outlook to life is sure to bring about a drastic switch in each of our lives and that also in the most pessimistic way. If you were to sit and keep a check on your words and actions in general, you will come to realize that ninety percent of your behavior is taking a negative twist of late. Most of your time is spent in cribbing or complaining about something or the other. Be it the morning traffic that you encounter on your way to work or something as severe as being fired from your workplace altogether. Such a behavior on your part ends up completely spoiling your mood and you tend to pass whatever time you have in your hands in the sea of frustration. What you fail to understand here is that if you would have chosen to look at the bigger picture, problems would have looked much much smaller, which would have in turn helped you to spend your day in the arms of some feel good components.
Choose to be Happy
Many a times, people are seen cursing the Almighty for having thrown hurdles and obstacles one after the other and leave them with no option, but to feel bad about themselves. These people tend to hold a strong opinion that the Creator of All has created their destiny in a way, which is full of loopholes and shortcomings with absolutely no way out of this hazardous situation. However, how far can you consider this to be the real truth? If you happen to be a self reliant and confident individual, then by now you must have understood that creating your destiny is completely in your hands. You as well as your present situation is a result of those instances and situations that you have chosen to create at some or the other point of time. No one else is responsible for your happiness or sadness. Remember, not even God. It is you and only you who enjoys the complete liberty of choosing a life of your choice and thus if you have demanded joy, peace and of course a feel good element in your life, then it is sure to become a reality by hook or by crook.
Help Others
If you are looking forward to add a touch of feel good ingredient to your life, then there is no better way, than contributing a bit towards helping others. You might achieve everything in life, but if inner satisfaction is what you are desperately searching for, then in that case you need to make it a point to help someone else who is in need of assistance. You might quickly claim that you do not have enough funds to take care of someone else’s monetary needs. What you fail to realize here is that financial help is not the only kind of help that you can devote to others. At times, something as simple as offering emotional support or giving a patient ear to some distraught human being out there is also more than enough. Apart from this, you can also consider signing up with a non profit making organization that works for the benefit and well being of women, children or even old and senior citizens for that matter. If you have used books, clothes or toys, you can even consider donating the same to the less priviledged lot. Such small actions on your part are likely to play a major role in reviving your life and making you feel good in the long run.
Value Relationships
From the earliest books that we have read and studied in school, we have often come across the sentence “Man is a Social Animal”. The same holds completely true in today’s date as well. If you wish to be happy in your own space as well as when others are around you, then in that case you need to learn to value all those relationships that are near and dear to you. Many a times, we just look at the negative traits in the opposite person, completely overlooking the positive, one of its kind characteristics that are held in the person in question. It is only our outlook that ends up spoiling things and destroys relationships which would have otherwise flourished and bettered with time. If you wish to feel good the right away, then make it a point to simply thank all those people around you, be it your immediate family members, long lost relatives, friends and peers who have brought about some positive difference in your life. If you do this, you will have nothing to regret about and eventually your mood would be lifted to the highest level and you are sure to feel much good.
